Over the coming years, the aging industrial park on Korte Noorderweg will be transformed into Geuzenpark: a contemporary, green neighborhood with 95 apartments for sale and 136 rental homes, set around a shared inner garden. The six residential buildings have been designed as one cohesive neighborhood, each with its own distinct identity while sharing a clear architectural language. Created by Ronald Janssen Architects and Workshop Architects, the architecture takes inspiration from Hilversum’s rich design heritage and the work of Willem Marinus Dudok. You’ll see that influence in the clean lines, varied brickwork, balanced proportions and thoughtful detailing throughout.

Designed by landscape architects Karres en Brands, Geuzenpark’s inner garden brings the entire neighborhood together. More than a beautiful backdrop, it’s a place designed to be part of everyday life. Greenery flows between the buildings, inviting you to walk, spend time outdoors or meet neighbors along the way. Varied planting, changes in height and a mix of sunny open spaces and more sheltered corners give the garden a natural, layered character that evolves with the seasons. The landscape also works behind the scenes. Rainwater is collected within the garden and gradually released through the greenery, helping create a more comfortable, climate-resilient environment while supporting the landscape around it.
