Strong turnout for Geuzenpark neighborhood information evening

On November 19, 2025, local residents and other interested community members gathered at De Geus community center to learn more about the plans for Geuzenpark and meet the project team.
Omwonenden en geïnteresseerden kwamen hier samen om meer te horen over de ontwikkeling en met het projectteam in gesprek te gaan.
The evening focused on the first phase of the development: six residential buildings with a total of 231 homes, set within a green, low-traffic park. The team presented plans for the site, architecture and public spaces, as well as practical topics that matter to the surrounding neighborhood, including parking, traffic, water management and public safety. There was plenty of opportunity to ask questions, share ideas and raise concerns. Parking pressure, accessibility and the design of the inner gardens were among the main topics discussed.
Most of all, the evening was about creating an open dialogue with the neighborhood. The feedback and concerns shared by local residents will be taken into consideration as the plans continue to develop.
The evening also offered a glimpse of what lies ahead: the transformation of a relatively closed-off site into a green, accessible neighborhood with space to live, connect and spend time outdoors.
